Honestly, I can't say I don't feel it, I would ultimately be fooling no one but myself, its dificult to admit that because for a while I've been telling myself am fine without it, but life just keeps showing you just how much its important. Just to have a proper meal in the Caribbean cost at least $200 according to the size of your family and fast food is no different. I say then I must be rich to be living this long hmm. All I know it that I have a father in heaven that's been taking care of me since birth and still is he continues to see reason enough that I should be alive, honestly I can't thank him enough.
Then we have the pressure of you getting older and no one sees you as a kid to take of anymore especially the fathers that prefer to sell their daughters off to the highest bidder, but not mine of course, oh dear! I hope not mine. You know once you hit thirty there's a certain pressure from all directions right? Get married this, financially stable that, I want grandchildren this, why are you not dating that, its just to much. I hardly ever even wanted to growup in the first place. I used to ask my mother why are we here? She couldn't give a direct answer but now that I have come into the understanding of the truth, I truly get it now.
There is a reason why every one of us are here right now because untimely there's a plan set in motion that is much bigger than us and what we do or don't do, none of that even changes the inevitable, and its scary and at the same time thrilling to know that for once you can sit back and see it all play out.
I find comfort in that sometimes, when you're a person like me who thinks and rethinks everything to try to change or to make things better, when your brain is going a mile a minute because you haven't got this done yet or you never finshed that last project. Its crazy because we sit down most of our lives worrying about who's gonna do this or who's gonna do that if I don't do it, when you're already scheduled to have fresh water for your shower, you're already scheduled for that hot plate of food coming in today.
You're already scheduled for that roof to be over your head and so it goes, but even if you don't have those things life is one of the most important things TMH gives us so we shouldn't take it for granted. Someone once said "if you don't like the circumstances you are in change them" but is it really as simple as that, when you're not the one holding the steering?
What I do know is that, you wouldn't be in the position that you are at right now if TMH didn't see it fit that you should be there, so the question we should be asking ourselves is "what lesson can I learn from being in the circumstances that I am in right now" and what is TMH ultimately trying to show or teach me? Is it humility? is it resilience or maybe its courage or long-suffering. We can't know for sure until we pass the tests then only then can we have a story to tell. How I overcame this or how I overcame that.
Otherwise we will be going through the same circumstances over and over again until we decide to change our approach, or scratch things off altogether. We need healing and that's a fact, our community, our people, our nation as a whole there are to many spiritual things that take hold of us and has bonded us to spritual confinement we have to rise up an say "No" I am not a slave to the things that I do, and actually stop them when we say you will, for starters.
Our words mean everything to TMH and he holds us accountable for all of those words lets strive to make them mostly positive ones.
